An unparalleled experience
Visit GROSPERRIN cellars and enter the artisan world of the merchant-grower, which has remained unaltered since the 19th century.
Our 1851 cellars are located on the banks of the Charente, in the centre of the town of Saintes, a French town of Art and History with relics of a rich Gallo-Roman past.
Opposite our cellars, on the calm waters of the river Charente, barges used to stop to load casks of cognac for shipment throughout the world. As soon as you arrive and see the soft-coloured Saintonge stones you will find yourself immersed in this very special atmosphere.
Our guided tour will take you through all aspects of cognac, from those you will probably know to the closest-guarded secrets. What makes GROSPERRIN cognacs so remarkable? We will explain the traditional production methods and those we have researched and developed ourselves. And you may hear our bell strike the hour in memory of the men and women who have produced the cognacs which are being patiently matured.
We want your visit to be a truly unique experience.
